We are Raoul & Ligia Pop. Dignoscentia.com is a personal project of ours. Although we are churchgoers, the views we express here are purely our personal ones. Sometimes we diverge from the views of our church, and that’s alright with us. Do not ascribe our views to any particular religion. Our Bibles and consciences are our guides.
This site was started in 2001 and is dedicated to the study of Christian religious thought.
We do not believe one should build a doctrine around one verse, and throw out certain books of the Bible based on a personal or group bias. We believe the entire Bible as we know it is the inspired word of God, and should thus be looked at as a whole, with no additions or subtractions.
We believe the Ten Commandments are God’s law, are still relevant, and will always be relevant. They are the proper foundation of all moral and ethical principles.
