An annoying spammer is trying to leave comments on the site

A very annoying spammer keeps trying to leave spam comments on Dignoscentia, and he’s submitted over 85 of them. Thankfully, Wordpress, my site’s platform, uses a very good spam comment filter called Akismet, so none of them went through. But, since he’s bothering me so much, I thought I’d out him.

So, whoever he is, the IP addresses he’s used so far are:

• 69.31.32.2
• 205.134.182.66
• 65.39.251.52

I’ve already notified his ISPs, so I think he could be out of business fairly soon, but just in case, I’ve posted a PDF file with his spam as proof: Comment Spammer on Dignoscentia.

Updated 2/1/08: Another spammer is trying his luck, but it’s not going to work. Let me out him as well:

• 165.228.132.11
• 165.228.129.12
• 165.228.131.12
• 200.118.110.89

It’s got to be the same person, because all of the IP addresses are closely related. My advice to him: quit wasting your time, you won’t get through.
