Amazing Facts has issued a press release announcing that Pastor Doug Batchelor will be on 3ABN to talk about the Ten Commandments Day. Here’s an excerpt:

“Amazing Facts is joining 3ABN for a special weekend of Ten Commandment broadcasts, beginning May 5 and continuing through May 7. On Friday, May 5, at 11:00 p.m. EST, Pastor Doug will revisit the fourth commandment and explain its prominent role in every Christian home. Then the following day at 2:00 p.m. EST, he’ll powerfully consider the full spectrum of the sixth commandment in believers’ thoughts and actions.”

It’s important to consider the impact of the Ten Commandments Day, and I’m going to let Pastor Doug explain why:

“Pastor Doug remains cautiously optimistic about the Ten Commandments Day nationwide event. He says, ‘A day when churches rediscover the Ten Commandments represents a turning point and potentially a prophetic landmark. We have to remember that while acknowledging the eternal goodness of God’s law, we must also be wary of the political consequences such a day might bring.”
