Psalm 13: trust in God gives peace

God is good! I can identify with the frustration felt by the author of the psalm, because I was in that state of mind a few days ago, but I can also say along with him, “As for me, I trust in your faithful love, Yahweh. Let my heart delight in your saving help.”

It’s interesting, this situation of mine. I should be worried - terribly so - but I’m not. I’ve given it over to the Lord, and I trust He’ll make it work. This psalm is still applicable to the pickle I’m in (rhyme unintended). But I know God will deliver me, and I can “sing to Yahweh for His generosity to me, let me sing to the name of Yahweh the Most High!”
