Self-discipline

Author: Collection

Self-discipline is the ability to subordinate the body to regulate your conduct by principles and sound judgments rather than by impulse, desire, high-pressure or social customs. Most people regulate their behavior by either impulse or desire for something they want to do or by pressures put on them by society or their own emotions.

The world belongs to disciplined people. An out of control life is an undisciplined life.

Superficiality, Over-indulgence, and Shallowness are all traits which are opposed to Self-discipline.

The disciplined mind can concentrate to respond accurately, and can express itself clearly. A self-disciplined person has balance in his life. He is governed by a sense of responsibility. Only self-discipline can carry responsibility.

Lack of self-discipline equals mediocrity.
